Schwerte. At the latest Company Friday, Mayor Dimitrios Axourgos and Jens Ewald from Technopark und Wirtschaftsförderung Schwerte GmbH visited the TZWL. They were welcomed by Patrik Wernsmann and Jörg Köntopp, who is also a member of the board at TZWL.

The TZWL is one of the leading certified test centers for domestic ventilation units in Germany. Located in the facilities at Schrezenmaier Kältetechnik, the test center is certified by the German Institute for Building Technology and is one of three accredited test centers nationwide. Ventilation units and systems are tested here for their efficiency, quality and conformity to standards in order to ensure the highest standards in the industry.

With currently six employees, the TZWL has established itself as a highly specialized testing laboratory. In addition, further expansions are planned in the halls of Schrezenmaier Kältetechnik in order to meet the increasing demand for testing services and to further expand the range of services.

Mayor Dimitrios Axourgos was impressed by the specialized work of the TZWL: “The fact that Schwerte is home to one of the few recognized testing centers for residential ventilation in Germany underlines the innovative strength of our business location. The test center makes an important contribution to quality assurance in the industry.”

Jens Ewald also emphasized the importance of the TZWL: “The test center is an important location factor for Schwerte. Key topics for the future such as energy efficiency and sustainability in building technology are driven forward here with a high level of expertise. It is pleasing that the TZWL can continue to expand and thus further develop its role as a leading testing center.”
