V. has built a new test stand for measuring ventilation units for leaks and modernized the\ntest stand for alternating units &#8211; also known as &#8220;push &amp; pull&#8221; units. These investments were made possible by funding from the &#8220;Program for Rational Energy Use, Regenerative\nEnergies and Energy Saving&#8221; (progres.nrw) &#8211; Climate Protection Technology program area\n(funding guideline progres.nrw &#8211; climate protection technology), of the state of NRW, district government\nArnsberg.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00f6rg K\u00f6ntopp, Managing Director of TZWL, says: &#8220;We would like to thank progres.nrw for the funding and the great cooperation. As part of our TZWL 2020 project, we are facing up to the technical changes of the present and are equipped for the future with our newly designed and modernized test benches. \nIn this way, we are continuing the reorganization of the association decided by the members and remain the ideal contact for\nmanufacturers of domestic ventilation appliances for appliance development and approval tests.&#8221;<\/p>\nWith the new test benches, TZWL is able to continue to offer measurements on ventilation units\nin compliance with standards using state-of-the-art technology and its expertise from over 30\nyears of experience. At its location in the center of Dortmund, the\nteam at TZWL has carried out almost 400 appliance tests. As part of the\nTZWL 2020 programme, the further modernization of all testing facilities and the restart\nof a test center at a more modern location in the heart of the Ruhr region are planned.<\/p>\n<p>When TZWL was founded on 14.12.1999, domestic ventilation was a little\nknown subject area and only a few tests were carried out on appliances.\nNor did the variety of today&#8217;s appliance technologies exist at that time. Now, almost 25 years\nlater, the domestic ventilation market has a strong momentum of its own, with many\nmanufacturers and suppliers and a wide variety of device technologies. Not least due to the\nincreasingly climate-friendly policy, domestic ventilation has established itself as a building technology\nand TZWL offers its contribution to the climate transition with its testing and consulting services\n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Test Centre for Residential Ventilation Units (TZWL) e.
