The specifications for a ventilation concept in accordance with DIN 1946-6 are binding for all trades involved in construction:<\/p>

  • New residential buildings<\/li>
  • Renovations of single and multi-family houses where more than 1\/3 of the existing windows are replaced or<\/li>
  • Single-family houses where more than 1\/3 of the roof area is sealed.<\/li><\/ul>

    Some manufacturers of domestic ventilation systems offer ventilation concepts in accordance with DIN 1946-6 at a reasonable price, but often exclusively with the components they sell. The ventilation concept created in this way thus subordinates the requirements of the building and the comfort of the users to the components of the respective manufacturer. The result is therefore not always the optimum configuration for the user and the building.<\/p>
